Urban Meyer shortened his true freshmen rotation a bit against Tulsa, but a handful of 2016 signees still made an impact in Ohio State's second victory of the season.

Eight freshmen saw playing time, with starting offensive guard leading the way in prestige if not the stat sheet. Linbacker Keandre Jones and offensive lineman Jack Wohlabaugh, who played against Bowling Green, were't listed in Ohio State's game report.

Running back Demario McCall managed five yards on two runs, with one going for five and the other zero. Defensive end Nick Bosa also managed to scare Tulsa QB Dane Evans witless after barreling through the line during fourth-quarter action.
