I'm still trying to mentally transition from the idea of a college football head coach as someone who looks at an Ohio State job as something that he'll latch onto until he turns into a wizened old gnome, brooding beneath Ohio Stadium. That's never actually happened; Ohio State coaches, like Defense Against Dark Arts professors, don't tend to meet with particularly happy endings. But being the eternal optimist that I am, I still like the idea of Urban Meyer kicking ass in C-Bus long after we're taken over by robot overlords.

That's probably unlikely, but to determine what's in store for Urban Meyer's future, we need to look at his past. To that end, Beau and I have brought on Heath Cline from 107.5 The Game from Columbia, South Carolina. Heath has some pretty interesting insight into Urban Meyer, and has followed his career closely from his time at Florida to the present day, and he tells all about how Urban has changed over the years and how much longer he might be expected to coach here in Columbus. Plus, great insight into the SEC and how that venerated (read: occasionally overrated) conference might shake out in 2016.

Oh and hey, Kyle Snyder won a freaking gold medal! Also, Ask Us Anything (which you can do via e-mail or Twitter), in which we see who's tenth or so on the Ohio State quarterback depth chart. Spoiler alert: IT'S ME.

0:00- Who the hell is this Urban Meyer cat? How do we view his tenure as we head into the... fifth? Year of coaching the Ohio State Buckeyes.

16:00- Heath Cline fills us in on Urban, college football in the south, and how ridiculous Butch Jones is. It turns out: very ridiculous.

38:47- Kyle Snyder is a baaaaaad man, and Ask Us Anything! Will someone please get Beau a shirt?!?

And that's the Dubcast for this week! Watch out, because it is rapidly approaching Go Time, and next week we'll do our season preview. See you then!
