When are people going to learn it doesn't pay to bet against Urban Meyer's Ohio State? Perhaps today is that day.

Apparently Notre Dame legend Mike Golic and Ohio State legend Cris Carter (two ESPN employees) made a friendly wager on the outcome of the 2016 Fiesta Bowl.

The Buckeyes ran roughshod over the Irish, but Golic paid his dues on Monday morning's Mike and Mike. He donned an Ohio State shirt, and even spent part of the show ripping the NCAA about Joey Bosa's first quarter ejection for targeting

The next time Ohio State and Notre Dame clash (scheduled for 2022), perhaps Golic will want to refrain from the urge to bet on the school he knows and loves. It never ends well for him.
