Sometimes, the plan doesn't come to fruition.

On Senior Day in Columbus, in front of a new Ohio Stadium record crowd (108, 975), the Buckeyes failed to get their offense on track and an exhausted defense failed to stop Michigan State late and surrendered a last-second field goal, sending Ohio State to defeat for the first time since September of last season.

Michigan State, playing without their senior leader–quarterback Connor Cook–limited Ezekiel Elliott to just 33 yards rushing on 12 carries and JT Barrett and the passing game were never able to find a rhythm on a cold, windy and rainy night in Columbus.

Eleven Warriors was there, here's what our view looked like in the rain-soaked Horseshoe.
