The health of Connor Cook's shoulder was a known concern heading into No. 9 Michigan State's trip to No. 3 Ohio State, but the general consensus was the QB would play through it.

One of the Big Ten's leading touchdown passers, however, will be sidelined. During the ABC broadcast, it was noted Cook did not have the velocity on his ball to go.

So far in 2015, Cook's thrown 2,482 yards, 21 touchdowns and completed 58 percent of his passes.

Senior QB Tyler O'Connor, a former three-star pro-style QB out of Lima, is the man tabbed to replace Cook. Damion Terry, a junior dual-threat QB and former four-star recruit, could also see time.
