Junior safety Vonn Bell played at a high level all season, but he dropped his best performance of the season Saturday night in 28-14 win over Minnesota.

Bell posted 10 tackles (seven solo) and returned an interception 16 yards to open scoring for a then-stagant Ohio State.

According to a release from Oho State, the Georgian leads the Buckeyes and ranks sixth in the Big Ten with 10 passes defended, including eight break-ups and two interceptions. He's the team's third-leading tackler with 49 on the year.

Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong won the conference's weekly offensive honors. Rutgers WR Janarion Grant was named Special Teams Player of the Week, and Illinois RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn took home the Big Ten Freshman of the Week award.
