Rod Smith is reportedly coming back to Ohio, according to ESPN's NFL insider Chris Mortensen.

The Seattle Seawhawks are playing the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati this weekend, and it looks like they'll be bringing the former Ohio State running back with them.

According to Mortensen, the Seahawks are expected to promote Smith to their active roster.

Smith was dismissed from Ohio State a year ago this month. He entered the 2015 NFL Draft, where he went undrafted only to sign a practice squad deal with the Super Bowl runner-ups.

The Seahawks sit at 2-2, and the Bengals are 4-0. They will kick off at 1 p.m. Eleven Warriors will let you know when this move becomes official.
