Ezekiel Elliott's performance at Indiana saved Ohio State from its first loss of the season, and people haven't quit talking about it since.

The star Buckeye running back earned National Player of the Week honors Thursday from the Maxwell Football Club after torching the Hoosiers for a career-high 274 yards and three touchdowns in Ohio State's 34-27 victory.

It's Elliott's third major player of the week honor, a clean sweep. He previously earned the honor of player of the week by the Football Writers of America Association and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Elliott also was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday.

Against the Hoosiers, the junior from St. Louis tallied scoring runs of 55, 65 and 75 yards, all coming in the second half. According to ESPN Stats and Info, Elliott is the first player in 10 years to have three 50-plus-yard touchdown runs in one half. He now has 10 runs of 50-yards or more in his career, per an Ohio State release. He's also ran for more than 100 yards in 10 straight games.
