Terrelle Pryor, Cleveland Browns Wide Receiver

Terrelle Pryor has had a long and winding football career. Once considered the best overall high school football player in the country, he came to Ohio State with massive expectations placed on his shoulders. On the field, though he was not the transcendent Vince Young-like talent that people hoped he'd be, he was still outstanding and led the Buckeyes to two memorable BCS victories over marquee opponents.

But then Tatgate came and went, the coach that recruited him got fired, and TPeezy went to the NFL to ply his trade in the throwing arts. It did not go very well.

Then Pryor made a transition to wide receiver, and while some had characterized this move as coming much too late to salvage his football career, it appears that even the oft overlooked freakishly talented world class athlete can find a place in the NFL. Final NFL roster cuts had to be made as of 4 pm EST, and luckily for Pryor, his name was not called.

Best of luck this season to Terrelle, and hopefully his transition sets a successful precedent for other QBs looking to make the transition to receiver.
