Houston Officially Introduces Tom Herman as Head Football Coach

While Urban Meyer admitted yesterday he'd already begun the machinations of replacing Tom Herman, Ohio State's offensive coordinator was officially introduced as Houston's head coach today; it was pretty awesome.

The band — while the effort gets an A; well, it certainly won't ever be mistaken for The Best Damn Band in the Land:

Ultimately, it's a chance to take the reigns of a downtrodden Houston and restore it to the glory days it had under Art Briles and Kevin Sumlin, both of whom used Houston as a stepping stone to bigger, more historic programs.

Herman — who you might not know is a member of MENSA, the organization for geniuses — will still be retained by Ohio State for its upcoming playoff run:
