According to Michele Theodore of The Lantern, four men decided to honor a timeless Veterans Day tradition: jumping the fences at Ohio Stadium.
But it turns out campus police were waiting, and their Veterans Day shenanigans took a turn for the worst.
Two of the culprits were seen trying to climb a west-side Ohio Stadium fence on Tuesday morning at roughly 1:30 a.m. One of the two climbers was apprehended outside of the stadium with a third person. The other joined a fourth suspect inside the stadium, and after an evasive jog, were also apprehended after the cops made the first two suspects call the two loose in the stadium.
One suspect reportedly replied he "just wanted to see it." It's assumed all four were cited with criminal trespassing for their efforts.
