The ascension of redshirt freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett continues.
Barrett was Ohio State's most industrious offensive player in Saturday's shellacking of Rutgers, and his performance resonated outside of Columbus.
Barrett completed 19 of 31 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns. He was also Ohio State's leading rusher, toting the rock seven times for 107 yards and two touchdowns.
For his efforts against the Scarlet Knights, Barrett was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week (again), and Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. It's Barrett's fourth Freshman of the Week honor and his second Offensive Player of the Week.
Take a bow, J.T. Barrett.
