Is it bad that I have no idea who Kosta Karageorge is?

I feel like wrestling helps so much in the trenches. Guys learn not only how to control their entire body with their hips, but how to control someone else by taking away theirs. Tackling is helped by learning shots and take takedowns and when a shot or tackle is defended, leanring how to switch to another while still attacking, not just giving up after the first failed attempt, as well as shot defense in case someone lowers their head. Just a great way to pick up a lot of tools for football. The better wrestlers always have non-stop motors, too. I hope to see him on the field.

He was a HWT on the Wrestling team.  Here is a picture of him from 2010:

With his background in wrestling I wouldnt be surprised to see him make his way into that rotation later in the season.

Realistically, getting into the rotation will be difficult for someone with very little experience even though he probably has some serious physical tools.  I think that he could be the next Nate Ebner and be a force on special teams

Awesome. Love hearing about this. Congrats young men on reaching this first step. Let us hope it springboards all to great heights!

I read an article today talking about Urban being very happy with the last couple days of practice saying that he thinks it was the best since he got to OSU 3 years ago.

Hope that's an early indication the team is rising to the challenge.

Me too. The vibes that I have been getting from coaches and players comments lately have been the most positive in Urban's tenure at OSU. The chemistry, and the way the players believe in the coaches and the system. I can't help but think that we will see the best team play out of OSU since Tressel's great teams. And mix in Urban's recent recruiting..........I think OSU can still reach the playoffs even with Cardale or Barrett.

I wish we had video of the team and everyone's reactions...

Here's a link to a running table I'm keeping of guys getting their black stripes removed. Just for reference, figured it'd be helpful.

Hummm?? A big, smart, mean ex-wrestler???? Sounds like he has the makings of an offensive lineman. I think Urban is looking for guys like this. I wonder how he does in the circle drill???
