Normally, I don't care about internet tournaments outside of Eleven Warriors' Heart of it All Classic. But it appears we are a mere four hours away from one of the biggest abominations in internet voting history, and I can't take this sitting down.
SiriusXM is hosting a college football traditions tournament. Their final has come down to Wisconsin's "Jump Around" vs. the incomparable Script Ohio.
One features a 1992 hip-hop track from the inconsequential House of Pain, and a bunch of drunk Wisconsinites jumping around like they're at a house party
The other is a college tradition dating back to 1936 featuring The Best Damn Band in the Land. I may be biased, but this is a no-brainer.
And yet, here we are. Roughly four hours remain in the voting and Script Ohio trails Jump around by a mere 2,000 votes. You can head here to vote and help avert this travesty. Voting is open until 3 PM eastern today.
And in case you needed any extra motivation:
Hey @umichfootball, we need your help. #FriendsDontLetFriends4OSU. Vote 4 Jump Around! http://t.co/gcR4C30czS
