Shazier, Mewhort, Roby and Hankins to be Honored

By Kyle Rowland on April 9, 2014 at 3:11p

Ryan Shazier, Jack Mewhort, Bradley Roby and Jonathan Hankins – Ohio State's most recent All-Americans – will be honored at Saturday's spring game.

Shazier and Mewhort earned All-American accolades last season, while Roby and Hankins were All-Americans in 2012. The four former Buckeyes will likely all be playing in the NFL next season.

Shazier, Mewhort and Roby are projected to be drafted in the first four rounds of May's NFL draft. Shazier and Roby could be first-round selections.

Hankins currently plays for the New York Giants.

Very Cool.

Honors former Buckeyes and also should impress the hell out of some high profile recruits in attendance.   You can't lose!

I know there's a game Saturday, and my ass will be there.

I really wish we were getting one more year of RDS, but I fully understand his decision. It's hard to do better than being a probable 1st round pick. Best of luck to him and some NFL team is about to draft themselves a bonafide play making beast!

I forgot about big Hank. I wonder how he did this year. I think he went to the giants. Not sure though. Great honor.

We're going to have to change the name of Buckeye Grove to Buckeye Forrest one of these days.
