Fairfield five-star offensive tackle Jackson Carman showed why he is undoubtedly the top-rated offensive tackle in the country on Sunday as he earned an invitation to Nike Football's The Opening Finals during the Cleveland Regional.
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Carman is considered the top-rated offensive tackle and No. 7 prospect overall in the Class of 2018. He holds more than 40 offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas and USC.
Though Carman is arguably the most important in-state recruit during the Urban Meyer era, he recently said the Tigers lead the Buckeyes for his services.
The event will take place in Beaverton, Oregon, in either late June or early July.
