The Hurry Up is your nightcap of Ohio State recruiting news, catching you up on the day’s events with an ear on the ground for what’s next.

NAJEE HARRIS VISITING OHIO STATE IN APRIL?

The country's top-ranked overall prospect for 2017, Antioch, California, running back Najee Harris, has reportedly set up a visit to Ohio State.

I talked to one source close to Harris about this potential visit, which seems at this point to coincide with Ohio State's spring football game.

"I'm not sure exact dates," the source said. "Whenever the coaches' clinic is. His offensive coordinator is bringing him."

Harris is committed to Alabama, but the relationship between Tony Alford and the star running back has been one that has steadily grown over the last handful of months, and he's expressed regularly a desire to get to campus with the Buckeyes. In the meantime, according to the source, Harris has just been doing what he does on the football field in 7-on-7 camps and more.

"He is running track and training every day," the source said. "He's killing everybody we compete against and making teams take their linebackers out of the game for defensive backs. Then he beats the defensive backs."

TYJON LINDSEY'S VISIT IS HERE

Thursday evening, for the first time, it's "welcome to Columbus" for Corona (Centennial), California five-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey, a player that surged to the top of the Buckeyes' recruiting boards.

As he indicated, Lindsey arrives Thursday night in Columbus–he'll be in town until Sunday–and he's made it clear that this trip is one that will be important in his recruitment. The country's 21st-ranked player for 2017, Lindsey gave Twitter a little tease this morning as he prepares for the departure.

The Ohio State recruiting efforts for Lindsey have been spearheaded by Zach Smith, who seemed excited about the prospect's visit.

This weekend will be the first opportunity for the 5-foot-9, 180-pounder to spend time with Urban Meyer and the rest of the Buckeyes' staff.

There is currently one prediction on the 247Sports.com crystal ball in the Buckeyes' favor for Lindsey.

The former teammate of quarterback Tate Martell and defensive lineman Haskell Garrett–each of whom are currently on campus at Ohio State–is the fifth-ranked wide receiver in the nation.

DARNAY HOLMES VISITING AGAIN?

The player that one Ohio State assistant said was "the best cornerback we've ever had in camp here" is considering another visit to Columbus.

Darnay Holmes, a five-star cornerback from Calabasas, California, took to social media earlier to say he'd like to get back to see the Buckeyes.

Holmes last visited Columbus for Friday Night Lights in July 2015, but was unable to get back for a game during the season though he had mentioned a number of times a desire to do so.

At this point, nothing is scheduled for with the Buckeyes, but Holmes will be at Arizona this coming weekend and Stanford the next. His good friend and teammate at Calabasas Keyshawn Johnson Jr. just committed to Nebraska, where Holmes has visited multiple times this calendar year, so there's plenty of competition for Ohio State to fight through.

If he's to get back to Ohio before a June decision date, the most likely weekend would be the same as Najee Harris — April 16 for the Ohio State spring game. Stay tuned.

ISAIAH PRYOR BACK AT OHIO STATE

Not that there was much concern about the strength of 2017 four-star Isaiah Pryor's Ohio State commitment, but it's worth noting that the IMG safety has been on campus with the Buckeyes for the last two days.

After this morning's practice, Pryor spent some time with Greg Schiano, getting a bit of an extended look at how his future team operates on a day-to-day basis.

From a physical standpoint, it's been noted before, but it's worth reiterating: Isaiah Pryor is an absolute, chiseled monster at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds. It'll be quite interesting to see what Mick Marotti and the Buckeyes' coaching staff does with him and how they utilize him in the future.

DONOVAN PEOPLES-JONES IS A FREAK

He's not been back to Ohio State in a while, but there's no doubt that Detroit Cass Tech's Donovan Peoples-Jones has been staying busy. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder, ranked as the country's top overall receiver according to the 247Sports.com composite, has been putting on a bit of athletic show all over social media recently.

That's something. This is something else.

Then there's this.

Wherever he ends up playing college football–and right now the fine folks in Ann Arbor may have the edge–Peoples-Jones has earned the title of "freak."
