The coaching staff has been busy preparing for the big game against Penn State, but recruiting is a 24/7 process, and today marked another offer, this one for 2016 offensive tackle, Jean Delance (Mesquite, TX).

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound prospect has a great frame with room to grow and held from Texas Tech and TCU prior to the Buckeyes extending.

"I was talking with coach Tom Herman," Delance told Eleven Warriors. "I was on the phone with him and he offered me. It is really a dream come true! It is really an accomplishment."

Herman is Ohio State's ace in the Lone Star State so it should come as no surprise that he is the lead recruiter here. Delance's recruitment has been picking up heavy steam as of late as he has picked up some major offers during the season. He has some interest from Oklahoma and Texas A&M. With the Buckeyes offering, expect some of the top tier programs to offer also.

"I am very interested in Ohio State!" Delance said. "I am definitely going to be getting more involved and talking more and learning more about the coaches." He has not visited Ohio State, but he really likes everything about the program. Delance says, there is nothing not to like about the whole University.

"I really like everything, there are not really flaws about THE Ohio State University. I was telling Coach Herman all of the aspects on and off the field that are important to me and he and everyone else was just there with welcoming arms."
