Ohio State keeps winning in 2015: Freshman women's basketball phenom Kelsey Mitchell, who led the country in scoring (24.9 points per game) last season, captured Ohio State's (and the Big Ten's) first USBWA National Freshman of the Year Award. (Duke's Jahlil Okafor won the men's version.)

“This is a tremendous honor for Kelsey as she has worked so hard this entire season. I couldn’t be more proud to be her coach and to have her be a part of The Ohio State University,” said Buckeyes coach Kevin McGuff, according to PickinSplinters.com.

Normally, I'd post her highlight reel, but it appears Kelsey Mitchell Ohio State highlight reels are lacking on Youtube. Her AAU mixtape will have to do:

The good news is that, to my knowledge, she's not declaring for the 2015 NBA draft.
