Ohio State Dominates MIVA Postseason Awards

The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association bestowed its two highest postseason awards to Ohio State Buckeyes on Thursday, just as it did in 2016.

Head coach Pete Hanson won MIVA Coach of the Year and Nicolas Szerszen took home the Player of the Year Award. Both men repeated the honors from a year ago.

The Buckeyes finished the 2016-17 regular season with a 27-2 overall record and 16-0 in conference play. They're next in action Saturday, April 15th, at 5 p.m. ET in St. John Arena for the MIVA Quarterfinals against Quincy.
