2016 has been another great year in the Buckeye Twitterverse. We saw some exceptional trash talk, fantastic use of photoshop, near perfect gif work and Thad Matta in full uniform.

Miss any gems this year or simply want a recap? We've got you covered. We've scoured the internet to give you the year's best Tweets of 2016 from Ohio State players and coaches.

Nick Bosa tweeted this quote from Star Wars: The Force Awakens shortly after older brother Joey was ejected from the 2016 Fiesta Bowl for targeting. Ironically, Nick now has a chance to also play in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl.

This is the best "BOOM!" gif ever gifed by the Ohio State football staff.

A #source told me this is actually the second time one of those friends attended a puntless game. Urban Meyer needs to get that kid on a plane to Arizona.

Eight months later, I still have no idea what this is, but it's no less amazing.

Matthew Burrell's concert attire is unmatched.

Related: Dolodale survived 2016 without starting a Twitter war with an NBA star, hitting on an MMA fighter or obliterating a kid in video games. He was far from absent on the Twittersephere, though.

Joshua Perry is by all accounts one of the kindest individuals on the planet, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a savage side. This year, he dropped back-to-back bombs on former teammates Braxton Miller and Cardale Jones

Following Ohio State's double-overtime win over Michigan, Jourdan Lewis texted his former Cass Tech teammate Mike Weber to cry about the officiating. Weber hit him with a reply that has now become our new site tagline: "Shit happens bum juice."

Buckeye Dance Floor

A few Buckeyes used the Twitterverse to show off their moves to a wide audience (including national TV, in one occasion). Let's take a look.

Winner: Jonathan Cooper. He is an objectively good dancer.

King of Twitter?

Buckeye longsnapper Liam McCullough began 2016 with a bold New Year's resolution.

Liam received blessing from the Dolodale, the former Twitter king. Let's see how he fared in the first year of his reign.
