Across The Twitterverse: Review of the Week's Best Tweets

You may find that work, school, or other obligations keep you from focusing on Twitter the way you should. Thankfully for you, I'm able to tune out those distractions and provide you with a weekly rundown of the best tweets from around campus.

There is no Buckeye football game Saturday, but make no mistake, the players were grinding. The team faced perhaps an even more daunting and terrifying opponent this week than they'll ever meet on the gridiron: finals.

While reveling in academic victory isn't quite the same as celebrating a football win, it's all I have for you this week – take it or leave it.

I feel your pain Sean.

A 23-percent curve? Emailing the study guides to the class lists? Man, I'm taking the wrong classes.

I have one more final left, at 8 p.m., and here I am delivering you your premium content instead of studying.

Meanwhile, life evidently exists outside of finals. Who knew?

Here's the thing about cable and internet: everyone sucks. Every company, every provider, every customer service team – they're all bad. My dream is to one day actually receive what I'm trying to pay for (a novel concept, right?). When I can successfully pay for and receive reliable internet and cable in the United States, I can die satisfied.

I went to see Star Wars by myself last night, and it was perhaps the greatest cinematic experience of my life. I cannot emphasize it enough. If you are even a moderate Star Wars fan – go. Go now. Leave work, it will be there tomorrow. Star Wars is more important.

Here's my strategy: I'm not going to talk about how awesome it is, and maybe it will stay.

Same. Although I think D.J. is actually the fastest typer on staff. In case you wondered, we actually do a staff combine every year including events like speed typing, copy-editing and jousting.

Cardale Jones might have a fallback career as a chef? Let's see what the critics have to say:

Come on, Tyvis. You have to at least give him props for preparing a meal for you. It wasn't even Father's Day.

Mike Weber Kills a Man

We know Mike Weber was given the nickname "Baby 'Los" in spring camp, and we're getting a glimpse of why.

Running over coaches in practice? That sounds familiar.

Darron Lee and Stephen Collier Share "SCripture"

Stephen Collier and Darron Lee took to the twitterverse to share their favorite scriptures from the Bro-Bible.

This Week's Winner of Twitter

Erick Smith gets the win this week. This tweet deserved far more than three retweets, in my humble opinion.

Follow Friday:

  • Greg Schiano @OSUCoachSchiano Ohio State's new defensive coordinator, replacing Chris Ash.
  • Grant Edgell @Edge11W Welcome Grant to the team, everyone. You may know his Twitter account as @BuckeyeEdge, but it's since been changed to reflect his newly-forged allegiance. Grant has joined the team to help out with art and design work. He's already done plenty of work for us this season, and we're excited to have him on board and see what he's going to cook up.
