You may find that work, school, or other obligations keep you from focusing on Twitter the way you should. Thankfully for you, I'm able to tune out those distractions and provide you with a weekly rundown of the best tweets from around campus.

A week from this very instant, we will be about 18 hours in to the 2015 college football season. We made it. The off-season is behind us.

The bad news: Ohio State doesn't play until Monday. We still have over a week of waiting until the Buckeyes take the field. The waiting got a little easier though, as Cardale Jones has returned to the Twitterverse! Sing praises.

Pretty anticlimactic silence breaker there 12, but I'll take it.

If they did a live feed of them playing madden, I'd watch. The trash talk would be spectacular.

That's just a solid picture. Nothing to be embarrassed about there. Pantoni needs to step his game up.

"Most likely to be a stay at home dad" killed me. Also, that High School picture is fantastic.

That might be the most terrifying backfield of all time. Also, Zeke's sock game is on point.

This confirms to me that Mike Weber almost committed to Iowa. Don't rule out the possibility of a transfer.

I got a mental image of frat-star Jamarco Jones and it was life changing.

Freshman Grant Schmidt is struggling. Our thoughts and prayers are with him as he looks for his right flip flop.

family feud

All healthy families bicker from time to time. Tyvis and Cardale are no different.

Point for Cardale.

Cardale gets the win in this one. Every time Tyvis attacked he had a solid rebuttal. Tyvis's shots just weren't landing, and when they did they were soft. Plus, Cardale is 2-0 against him in the circle drill. You can't argue with #stats.

First day of class

Classes started on Tuesday, and for many athletes it was their first taste of true campus life. Here's how they reacted:

(Snarky comment about Cardale and class)

Wednesdays, I have four hour and 20 minute classes back to back in the same building. I start at 12:40 and don't leave until 6:15. Wanna trade, Cardale?

I mean.. Uh... Sure.

"Don't get discouraged! The class average is only failing by 10 points!"

I only have one 8 AM this semester. Life is magnificent.

This week's winner of twitter

I'm just laughing at the thought of Jalyn Holmes's ideal marriage being him and his wife playing Mortal Combat all day. He might be on to something...

Follow Friday

  • Andrew Ellis @TeddyHeisman Andrew is the new to the Eleven Warriors staff this week. He's here to help bolster our already awesome recruiting coverage and write a little about Big Ten football. He's a wonderful addition who really knows Ohio State football inside and out. Be sure to give him a follow.
  • Matt Gutridge @RemyBuckeye You probably know Matt on this sight as Remy. He's been a wonderful member of our Eleven Warriors community for years, and now he will be a taking over our Prep Tracker feature, informing you about the High School performances of Ohio State commits and targets. Be sure to give him a follow as well.
  • The Key Play @TheKeyPlay (Virginia Tech) I will try to give a shoutout to my favorite(s) websites and writers of Ohio State opponents a week in advance (technically, a week and a day in most cases since this piece runs on Friday). The Key Play is an awesome follow even if you aren't a Hookie fan. They are good friends of Eleven Warriors, and really do great work. Like us, their site is free and independent, yet content doesn't suffer. Also, they tweet in ALL CAPS during football season and it's awesome.
