PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Seems to be a fervent amount of apathy towards the ACC title game.
Johnny Hooker: "He's not as tough as he thinks". Henry Gondorff: "Neither are we".
I voted for the Big 12. I'd probably rather see the SEC title game, but Ive been to a game at the Georgia Dome and was not impressed.
For all the tradition that we claim to cherish in the Big10 you would think that the Big12 game would be unanimous. Oklahoma's history with Nebraska is huge and always held title implications. This will be the final time these schools will meet in a conference game/championship. Nebraska couldn't have asked for a more meaningful title game. I figured most that read this site would be Big10 fans and would have that unified understanding.
I don't always take names when I kick ass but when I do, they most often belong to a Wolverine.
The tradition that WAS the OU-NU game was ruined when the Big 12 formed and they didn't have them playing every year. Hopefully the Big 10 is not stupid enough to let this happened to our beloved Game.
Absolutely agree. I don't think Delaney or anyone thereafter would do that to our rivalry. I mean we certainly wouldn't stand for it as fans or as an organization. I could see us going independant if that happened.
