So much depends on LB. I can see them being anywhere from ridiculously good to below average. It really depends on what happens at the LB position.

The offensive line is considered the best in the country by the end of the year paving the way for a top ten rushing offense.
I'll be reserving low expectations for the defense that has to replace four captains (Simon, Boren, Goebel, Sabino) but maintaining high expectations for an offense that should rival Oregon for most points per game.

I'm always reserved when it comes to predictions, mainly because of the fear of injuries which always happen. I picked Braxton's passing for 2,800+ because I truly believe that will make the offense almost impossible to stop and Coach Meyer is counting on this. Brax doesnt need to be Troy Smith but if he can consistently start picking people apart like Troy used to that ground game is going to be absolutely ridiculous. Pick your poison.

Braxton throwing for 2,800 is the one that makes me think, "If that happens, lots of good things will come of it." Although, if two backs go for 1,000 plus, it must mean we have a lot of garbage time for the back-up to come in and run the ball.

I agree with all except Burrows/Apple. Doran Grant is the corner opposite Roby and Corey Brown will probably play STAR. There were times last year I felt Grant played better than Howard.
I agree Grant will be starting opposite Roby on Day 1, but he hasn't proven anything yet so far at OSU. With both Apple and Burrows enrolling early, it gives them all of spring/summer to learn the D and adjust to college play. Taking into account that and injuries, I think we see one of them stepping into a significant role somewhere in the D by year end. (see Malcolm Jenkins) And don't count out Burrows from taking away the STAR position. He has the size to fit that position and steal it away from Brown.

The defense being in the top 3 is WAY more of a bold statement then Brax throwing for more than 2800 yards (considering he had 2039 this year). Also considering OSU's defense was ranked 78th in passing D in the nation....???? The rush defense was ok...but not in top 3...nothing was close to the top 3 in D...from Fox Sports News below: Not looking like OSU style of Def. IMO....

Voted other, because I'm truely clueless on this one. I feel like I need to see: how the recruiting class ends up (Meyer might land a big talent due to USC/Oregon/Bell situations), see how Braxton's throwing abilitiy improves, see how the LBers shuffle out....... I'll have a much better prediction at the end of August.
Braxton, Mewhort, Shazier and Roby will all be 1st team all-americans.
