If the Kool-Aid keeps getting sweeter why stop drinking?  26-0.

I went with one loss- don't know against whom, just playing the odds.

I chose undefeated because I felt like being a giant homer.  Also, if they do end up losing next year, it's not like I'm going to look back to this poll and say, "Well, at least I got THAT right!"
The bar has been set this year.  GO BUCKS!

As much as I really try (honestly, I do) to temper my excitement for 2013 I simply am resigned to the facts:
1.  I am a HOMER, and will never expect them to lose a game.
2. We have Urban F. Meyer!
MeMO to rest of the B1G Conference:

“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”

Ohio State won 19 straight games from 2002 until losing to Wisconsin in 2003.  The longest win streak ever was 22 from 1967-1969 when they lost to Michigan in the finale.
26 isn't crazy.  The B1G's coaching staffs have been upended again, and the biggest threat to Ohio State next year before the Michigan game is probably Indiana.  The lane is clear, they just have to go out there and slam it down.

I picked yes although it won't be easy even with the "easy schedule". We are going to get everyone's best shot and can't have an off day.

Between our team quality and the weak schedule, an undefeated season is certainly possible. Going undefeated is so hard, though. I feel it is more likely than not that we will get tripped up once along the way.

Going undefeated two straight seasons is something really difficult to accomplish. Not saying it can't be done, especially because the Buckeyes have a lot coming back and their schedule is pretty favorable, but I voted one loss because it just seems like the "safer" choice.
I'll be thrilled if they can manage to do it all again, including the B1G Championship game + bowl game.

I think the main reason most people don't expect to go 14-0 next year is simply because it's hard to do. Yes, but so is making a high-leaping, one-handed grab for a touchdown. So is dodging about 5 defenders to make it three yards into the end zone. So is keeping Michigan scoreless in the second half when they have a quarter back running back receiver future NFL safety in their back field who can go the distance with great ease.
Sports are full of very difficult things to do, which is why we watch the games. We want to see the impossible, the amazing, the great. As Tom Hanks said in A League of Their Own, "Of course it's hard. If it were easy everyone would do it. That's what makes it so great."
So here is to a great 14-0 season. Hard? Hell yes! Impossible? Hell no!

To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.

OSU goes unbeaten, faces a tough opponent in the NC and wins close (may be a team straight from the death star conference...or hell...may be Darth Vader's team who's playing ND this year).  To say odds are with saying OSU losing a game...it will be the NC or not at all...those are my odds.  No way a B1G team upsets us...not during this season anyway...if so who????  @Northwestern....Iowa@home...or may be @ tTUN who has no offense...???  Not happening...not to mention the Purdue game "could" be an upset alert game but...again..."could" be bc we often times don't play stellar against them.

Considering Urban's teams have always been better in year 2 than year 1 that means OSU is going to go undefeated again.

I say that it's a helluva lot harder to go undefeated in your FIRST season with a new coaching staff...with another off-season, spring practice, and fall practice under their belts, the 2013 Buckeyes should be hell on earth for the Big Ten to handle, and with the Wisconsin, PSU, and Indiana games all in Columbus, I believe that the Buckeyes will be undefeated going into the scUM game.  Just like old times...GO BUCKS!!!

As much as I'd love for it to happen, going undefeated is a huge task.
We've got a supremely easy schedule (no Michigan St. or Nebraska), both Wisconsin and Penn State are at home and it's very possible the only ranked team we play all season is Michigan.
That being said, I would not be surprised if we slip up in a game where we are heavily favored (think @Purdue), so I voted 1 loss.

Might as well send a memo out to the rest of the Big Ten:

Don't bother resisting. Just get out of our way so we can go 13-0 and that way yall can still go to the Rose Bowl and whatever other mid-tier bowls you like so much. We'll be restoring the dignity of this dumpster fire of a conference with the Natty, mmkay?
