I would have chosen "Entire Defense" if it was an option, but since it wasn't I went with Hyde. He iced the Michigan game for us and even did Denard's little spaghetti dinner move. Loved it.
I voted other (because of the entire defense) before I read any comments. The Defense played lights out the entire second half. Everyone of them deserves a game ball.
I went with Hyde because the cereal eating motions to the Michigan bench after every run on the last drive were crucial in making sure their spirits were fully crushed.
It's sobering how relatively few yards rushing he put up for the season - he sure seemed to be dominating. It just feels like a 1,200+ yard season for Carlos even though its only 970.
I've been so impressed and happy with his toughness and durability down the stretch that I can't even remember him being injured and missing the two games - but yeah, you are so right. Add two games (let alone a B1G championship and a bowl game) and 1,200+ is pretty much a given.
Let's hand the honorary game ball to John Simon as the Silver Bullets pitched a shutout in the 2nd half and caused 4 turnovers. If someone told me at halftime that we score 6 points in the entire half and still win, well I would of "lost the farm"
Gave upvotes to everyone, what the hell. So many players contributed in so many ways. Love this team. Love the seniors. Love Meyer. Love the coaches and assistants. Go Bucks!
BTW how Tiger Woods-esque was that 52 yarder? The reply from behind showed he must have started that a good 8 yards out right and drew it back in. beautiful

PS... I agree with the "Entire Defense" crowd, it just was not an option and Boren was the face of the D for me today. That D came a long way over the course of the season.
I put Boren. Boren and Hyde both really stood out but Boren was very active on defense and he brought that Senior vocal leadership that we needed without Simon.
The defense was decent, when they actually tackled players, and didn't make a loser team look like heroes. So no vote for them. Robinson is strong and fast. Stop "hitting" with shoulders and start tackling. You would think 12 games in they have this figured out. So my vote is the with the offensive line who did a good job controlling the line, when it was 5 on 7 and not 5 on 9. See how easy it was on both sides of the ball to stop a one dimensional offense (QB run)? Both Miller and Robinson were going to run, and it was dealt with.
Force the defense to play honest, then your playmakers can move in the open field. Or "space" as Herbie wants to redefine football. Well done, Hyde.
Hyde was my vote, mostly for the cereal move once he iced things. That was just amazing!
However, I really think Basil and Boren both were integral to our success. Both had tough jobs. Basil has barely needed tg kick FGs all season, and suddenly he's kicking as much as a Rockette. Boren... I mean, the guy was a fullback at the beginning of the season. He wasn't just a depth player on defense, he was a passionate leader today.

I have to go with Boren, since we won with the bullets today, and he played exceptionally well.

THE ENTIRE DEFENSE!!!
Edit: 1 upvote for you G.B!
^This!!! ENTIRE DEFENSE AGAIN.

I have to say C.J Barnett. That last drive 2 break ups and an interception. CRUCIAL. 1a will be Boren followed by the rest of the defense.

Other - all of the above should've been an option!
I voted el guapo. Any word on Hyde's season total for yards?
~Because we couldn't go for three~
970

I think I heard right that the scUM offense didn't get to our side of the field in the second half. Unreal.

voted for zach boren, he seemed to be key in the middle of the defense in the very important 2nd half shutout of aacc
Drew Basil anyone?
Yeah, in my haste, I whiffed on adding him. Four huge FG including a 52 yarder.
You, good sir, are forgiven. Without him, no win.

If Tiger Woods and Chuck Norris were to procreate, it would be Drew Basil. In fact, I think that's what his profile on the OSU roster says.
I voted other because I was thinking Basil as well.
EL GUAPO! MVP!
Runner-up, Zach Boren for being the leader on the defense, in Big John's absence! Can't TELL YOU how big that was!!!!
"Here officer, hold my beer while I find my license."
I voted for other also since the entire defense was not an option.

All of the above and more. Great team effort.
