Yes because Chris Gamble said OSU is having a 2002 year. Since he had an intercept against Penn State for a TD, Roby will too. His dad merely confirmed it.
Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State vs. Savannah State. - SB Nation following OSU vs. UM 2012
these games are always close. except in 2010 when PeeSU came out to a great first half, then we got our sh.t together and rolled them. pick six then. pick six now. and i'll try not to spill my beer all over myself at Eddie George's
dougger, you ever seen this before? I've seen it a few places so there is a chance it's accurate...if it is, it shows why we came out and killed 'em in the second half.
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
If I had enough sticks, I'd upvote this link.... I wonder now what Meyer is telling these kids.

As genuine, devout, and (some would disagree) honorable as Tress is, I think in the confines of a locker room in front of trusted players and personnel he could allow himself to embrace the moment and let some language fly. He was a football coach not a Pastor after all. Certainly not everyday language but in that setting I think it was entirely possible.

Yeah - I imagine that the man we saw & heard was not always the same man who time & again motivated a bunch of 20 year old kids to win at a rate that is almost unequaled, so I too would like to believe that's a fairly true story. He may have been a good guy, but he was also a man who's job it was light a fire under the asses of an entire football team. I'm gonna go ahead & buy that story just so I can picture JT hollering & cussing his way to a win..

Sorry, but I am not impressed with Penn State as of now. Who have they beaten so far? Navy, Temple, Illinois, Northwestern, and Iowa? They lost to Ohio and barely escaped Northwestern....Time for Matt McMoxie to come back to earth this saturday.
"We have a quarterback, obviously, that's kind of ridiculous running the ball." - Urban Meyer
Northwestern is a decent team, and Ohio is undefeated, albeit against MACtion. We have squeeked by several teams this year as well (Cal, IU, and Purdon't come to mind).
The question should be will he, but how many? I think Bradley Roby goes off in this game and Travis Howard reminds us why he was called "Howard Island" prior to last season. I see the D getting it done in this game and the O going off like no other.
matt mcgloin doesnt worry me much. bill obrien though according to mike wilbons sources "is having a unfathomable amount of success everywhere in that program" fwiw
I think that even though there will be bubble screen attempts galore, we bait them early then drop a spy, leading to at least 2 picks, and probably a recovered fumble or two - Simon's going to go medieval and pop a few screws (and footballs) loose.

Yes, because if there's anything that Penn State cares about, it's Tradition.
PSU fans act as if their team is unbeatbable.

Did his dad have another dream or is that a joke?
Either way, I voted yes because it's necessary for a win over PSU.

Just a joke, but there are still a few more days for one of the Robys to get prophetic again.
If we couldn't pick PU on the same screen play after play, Y U think we any smarter this time?GO BUCKS!
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.
I'd like to see it, but I just don't see it. Wait, isn't this the Shyamalan thread? Crap.
GREAT poll. Haha. Just a great poll. Well done.
Class of 2008
Power of positive thinking folks! I predict he at least doubles the amount of picks he's thrown this year. Who's with me?!

Has that locker-room admonition ever been confirmed by a player? It's not like any Tressel-speak I've ever seen.

It's not true. My first tip was JT saying G!@ Damn it. He would never say that.
That's what I thought. Thanks Pam.

I'd like to think it's true.

it is not "necessary" for a win over State Penn but it sure would be nice

People could say the same thing about us. Neb barely beat Nerdwestern and the the wheels are coming off of Sparty.
Doc, what you're seeing is what happens to every team when they play us. Demoralization!

Haha! I get it we are the biggest game on most everyone's schedule. After a beating the wheels fall off, or you blame the refs.
Regression to the mean. That's what happens Saturday. Matt McGloin is Matt McGloin and will remind us of that in a few days.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off

This picture makes me smile every time, especially when I remember how douchy he was acting in the first half of that game.

I voted no. Just playing the odds.

I voted no. I doubt they throw it past 3 yard bubble screens.
