Nate and Alex here. When we are not fetching coffee, making copies, cleaning the toilets, or feeding D.J.'s cats we work on a variety of different projects for Eleven Warriors.

As your 2016 11W Summer Marketing Interns we will be providing updates on our projects for the community on a weekly basis each Sunday throughout the summer. Our work will focus largely on product improvement, customer engagement and personal growth. Comments, questions and some damn respect for once are appreciated

This past week we have been looking at Eleven Warriors’ recruiting coverage and how we could enhance the experience and coverage around it. While many of you would argue that the recruiting coverage on here is perfect, we know better than to rest on our laurels and we will keep striving for improvement in everything we do. Attempts to clone Birm have gone very… awry (so don’t even bother suggesting it)

For those of you that do not know, 11W has a twitter account (@11WRecruiting) committed exclusively to recruiting news. There is a lot of cross-promotion done with the main 11W twitter account, but you will also get more in-depth information as far as recruitment goes. (Give it a look if you get the chance!). To elevate awareness of our recruiting coverage we would want to build overall brand recognition---> social media plays a big part in this. There are some ways we believe we can create awareness on social media in regards to recruiting, but those trade secrets are highly confidential and closely guarded by DJ’s cats.

As far as content goes, we believe we should be efficient in the number of articles we have on recruitment. Too few will leave people wanting while too many can create reader fatigue or just risk being redundant. There may be a few ways we can mix this up, while keeping the content #fresh.

We take pride in how the staff here interacts with the coaching staffs and recruits. Respecting the wishes of recruits’ families is very critical as we would like to continue to be a respectable news source.

PSA: Do not tweet recruits. You WILL NOT change their minds and you WILL NOT feel better about yourself either. Keep it classy out there.
