Not sure if your particular mobile browser keeps you from scrolling the three articles at the top of the page to to the left, but I've noticed that if you click on the drop down icon at the top left of the page, it'll unfreeze that top banner so you can see what is to the right.

Hopefully this helps at least a few people. I know I grew tired of scrolling all the way to the bottom to view recent and active posts hoping what is on the top right is viewable there.
