I saw somebody complaining that his 8 year old could see bad language on here the other day. 

There's a lot of banter, innuendo, etc., that could be misinterpreted if you're young and impressionable, I suppose. But 99% of it is in jest...just banter.

Having said that, I think exposing an 8 year-old to the Internet is too young. If the kid's parent is going to complain, then that blame lays on the parent, not 11w and it's users. 

Not trying to tell anybody how to parent; each parent has his or her own choice. Just curious, which age would you recommend a person start using 11w? I'd say 14-16ish.
