Is there a place for new members to introduce themselves? I'm a child of the ten year war. Born in the Toledo strip. Grad of OWU in Delaware. Living in Boston for 25 years and still live and die OSU. Like the Pats too which has worked out....

Not so fast my friend .....
Did you follow the Lions or the Browns?
How did you transition to the Pats?
How strongly do you support your old team?
Do you feel any difficulty in rooting for Brady?
Browns - cardiac kids
Pat transition - great football. Tim Fox. Still like the Old (Paul) Browns
Brady - hard not to like. Never a threat when at ttun.
The only team that makes me feel like I'm in 7th grade ( good/bad happy/sad) is tOSU.
For the love of God my avitar is Scladany a 70's punter!
Excelent inquisition!
Brady beat us 24-17 his senior year so he was a slight threat. Welcome to the 11W gang!

Thanks. Noticed on your FAVS you pull for the NFL team with OSU players. Ditto! Also - F-Brady! ( he did wear vrables jersey often for their OSU/TSUN bet)
That was so awesome to see him wearing Vrabel's jersey! Beanie won a similar bet with a Cardinal's team mate and they wore a Property of Ohio State Football shirt!

Okay, not bad. But you spelled Skladany wrong + answer me this .... how come Woody had Klaban kick extra points when Skladany had made like 59/60 previously??
Welcome
Skladany spelling: I'm from The USA - Ohio. Skladany was from PA. I don't know that language.
Not sure on the PAT. Why?
No idea why. Maybe during those glory years Woody thought he'd get tired with all those 'nonreturnable' kickoffs. Funny thing is that even with the Skladany spelling, it was actually Klaban (I think) who walked from E Germany or Czechoslovakia to the west.
Historical note on this thread to minimize confusion. I changed my avatar from skladany to the OSU team cleaning and adjusting the GO BLUE banner prior to the game. I love the sportsmanship and concern our players displayed fixing the banner to ensure it was safe for the Michigan players to run under.
At first I thought he was talking about the user on the site tenyearwar. Anyways welcome!
F--- Michigan!
He's my father ;)
Is that the one with -250 helmet stickers? @thetenyearwar

One of my best moments was also (you in football) going to States for track (440 - thats yards for you young'ins) in 1980 in Oho Stadium. Half the stands full. It was very cool and very neat to know as I watch games on TV that I competed in that stadium.
glad to hear you're a former trackie. If that track was still there, I might have to get my act together and get back into competiting. I'd love doing a nice 800 (most competitions are in meters now) around a packed horseshoe. damn, that must've been a cool moment
Welcome to the 11W family, BostonBuck! You have found the right place to talk about OSU athletics in general.
Welcome, and be sure to check this out.
