Forgive my ignorance, but I see people "embed" quotes from other users in these slick white boxes. I see the article on how to embed tweets, but how do I do this with quotes? Just trying to become a better user. Thanks for any help.

This took me a minute to figure out as well:
When you are typing your post there is a toolbar at the top of the comment box. Move your cursor over each one of the little icons and pausing for a brief period of time will open a dialogue box that will tell you each one's pupose.
The little " symbol on this tool bar is how people are able to embed the quotes. Simply click on this icon, the copy and paste your quote and click the icon again to end said quote.

Thanks for adding this information as well. Good to know.
Not a dumb question Popeurban. You use the quote selection on the toolbar. The same toolbar that lets you add links and spellcheck and such. After selecting it you copy and paste the quote you want to put in.
I can't believe I missed that. Thank you to all for your quick help.
