I love the current 11W banner picture. But I just realized that it's a picture of the Hive, and (sadly) OSU has ditched the Hive in favor of Quick Cals. Are there plans in the works to change the banner picture? Or are we good?

Yeah, getting rid of the hive was a mistake. Quick cals are really underwhelming. I desperately wanted to love them. I think it's great to get the student section involved, but there's gotta be a better way. When you have 15,000 rabid fans willing to do something awesome in unison, it should be pretty epic. I've seen some students on here talk about how it's different doing it yourself. That's great, I'm sure it feels awesome doing it, but so would a number of other things that may also be visible from other parts of the stadium. First game I was at was Michigan, where I assume the quick cals were at their finest, and from the opposite goalline, you couldn't even tell the student section was doing anything. That being said, 12-0! Quick cals forever!

Holybuckeye, your pic is awesome. When he pointed at the screen like that pregame I got so hyped. Suffice it to say the regime change at OSU is a breath of fresh air, not to knock the Senator, of course, but UFM's attitude, as well as his aggressive coaching and recruiting philosophies represent a fundamental shift that I think a lot of Buckeye fans wanted for so long. good shit.

I noticed this a while ago but what happened to the stripe that was between the words and the picture. It seemed like one day it just dissapeared.

Oh the offseason...when things like the banner pic is all we have to dwell on. I'm *not* knocking this thread or any individual; just lamenting the fact that the off season is already here. I don't know if I can go 9 months without Buckeye football!
