Private messaging?

I don't know if it has been made available or not but would it be possible to maybe make private messaging available? There have been many times that I've wanted to message someone in private and not have to put it in the open forum. I know on other sites like this, they limit the amout of space for private messages. You can only save like 20 messages and you have to delete the rest. If it's available someone please tell me where and I apologize for a wasted post.

I've sent a couple private messages. It ends up going to the other user's email that they registered the account with (bad grammar). But as I look, I can't find that option on the profile page of the user to send the private message. Must be having a brain fart.

Click "Contact" on the account page of the user you want to PM. Like Baro said, it goes to their email.

Hey Nappy, I see that option on some, but not others. Highballace has no option to Contact that I can see. I see it on mine but randomly checked a few other profiles and it was there on a couple and not there on a couple others. Is that an option you have to set up, to be able to receive them?

Barocl, yes, there is a way to send a private message. When I view your profile there is a contact option where I can send you a private message. It allows me to enter a message than sends you an email with an option to view the message. It does not show me your message. However, when I view HighBall's account info I do not see the contact option , it could be that he has some how opted out of that feature or perhaps there is a problem with the email he provided when he set up his account. I have used this option to send messages before.

Yes, you have to edit your profile and opt into the "allow contact" option at the bottom of your profile. Click MY ACCOUNT, EDIT, Account. Contact option is at the bottom of the page.

I just set it to contact me via email but I would much rather be able to be contacted on the site. I would rather have the messages stored here like they are on other sites. If someone contacts me from here, it usually goes to my junk mail. I get ALOT of junk mail so it's hard to filter that stuff. I don't mean that to offend anyone but my other email is for work and I have to have it set up that way even though it is a private email account.
