PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Taking some questions for tomorrow night's mailbag. Let 'em rip guys.
63-14 = Holley?
I see you have Solomon Thomas to tOSU... what % would you give the chances he commits to the good guys?
Didn't Josh Malone visit this past weekend as well... how did that go? Also same question for Tony Brown.? Did we make up any ground with either of those two?
Same basic question, but slightly different wording: What did you learn about Solomon Thomas' visit that made you pick him to commit to OSU?
Who will be the last offensive lineman in the 2014 class?
If you had to pick now, who do we end up with on NSD?
This this and more of this, haven't heard a peep about his visit yet.
What is going on with the OL recruiting? What is the OSU hierarchy of OL recruits?
Odds we finish the 14 class with the likes of Lattimore, Smith, Kwon, Thomas, Holley, Gennesey, Malone/Brown?
Who do you see as the next commit for the 2015 class? What is the timeline for that commitment?
Do you see any potential coaching change flips if Mack Brown gets canned, O'Brien/Mora to the NFL, etc.?
Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.
Thoughts on Tony Brown?
What recruits did OSU make the biggest impression on last Saturday? Will the PSU game result in any commitments sooner rather then later?
any word on juju smith??
there is no greater joy than watching Michigan get slammed. in anything
I'd like to kwon about know.....

Good one, Hove!
I giggled at the thought of that being an accident and him wondering what was a good one.
Nothing to see here
It seems like a couple recruits were close to committing during their visits this past weekend. What two or three prospects (2014 or 2015) would you classify as being on the verge of committing to OSU?
The numbers game seems to be pretty tight this year. Are you still thinking 23-25 guys in this class? If that ends up happening, what positions do you think we target for the remaining 6-7 spots?
Chances we flip Gesicki? (only partially joking)
Jeremy: what are the chances we flip Jermaine Eluemunor, only to have him flip to Florida St or another school?
With you changing your prediction of Johnnie Dixon to Alabama, does that mean there is a different wide receiver you feel confident about us landing? Maybe a kind of surprise like Malone, Smith, or Rudolph?
In Urban we trust. That is all
Are any of our 2014 commits closely tied with a particular assisstant to the point where we may see a decommitment if we have a coach leave for another job?
What are the early predictions and outlook for our 2015 QB? Is it Nunez, Wimbush, Gibson, and in that order?
Do you think the staff would take 2 more DL (Holley & Solomon Thomas)
Also any news on Josh Malones visit and what receivers are at the top of our board to finish out the class?
Holley reaction to the beatdown? What are our chances with him?
Who from the 2014 class plans on enrolling early?
You don't necessarily have to name names, but are there any current young men in this class that you feel will not be part of this class come signing day? Just wondering what the final number will be and how the puzzle pieces will fit at the end of the day. Thanks Birm.

Do you think CJ Conrad gets an offer before the summer?
Who would you take, Brandon Wimbush, Lorenzo Nunez, or Torrance Gibson if you had to choose one?
By 2015, OSU's QB picture will include Jones, Barrett, and Collier. Do you see OSU taking more than one QB in the 2015 class?
I'll just answer that one for you Tenn. Yes, barring something crazy like a last minute decommitment that doesn't allow us to take 2 QB's, I think it's almost a guarantee that we end up with 2 QB's in the 2015 class.
I disagree, 5 QBs on scholly is a bit overkill. I could see maybe taking a QB and an athlete that plays QB in HS that could change positions, but 2 true QBs is most certainly not a guarantee
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Any word on Trevion Thompson? I thought I read he was in town for the game.
He ended up not making the trip to visit. Likely that the ship has sailed with Thomspon unless he reschedules for another visit
Not saying you are wrong...but what qualifies you to answer mailbag questions. This is the second one you have answer and I was just wondering where u get your inside information? Or do you just read the same stuff the rest of us do?
"Anything less than flagrant is just playing grab ass!"
It's all out there somewhere, if you know where to look. I have no problem with him answering questions, as it perhaps give Birm an opportunity to focus more on questions that most people do not know the answer to. I have heard the same on Trevion
Right...and I think the same thing based on what I have read about Trevion...but the entire point of the mailbag is to pose questions directly to the 11W staff who have relationships with people inside the Football Program and the recruits.
Assuming Shazier and Roby stay for another year, limiting our signing to only 4-5 more guys - which of the recruits are the "last ones in", and who misses the cut?
Despite Roby slipping, both are still widely projected as first-rounders. There's no way that either of them stay another year.
When I walked in this morning and saw the flag was at half mast I thought, "Alright, another bureaucrat ate it." but then I saw it was Li'l Sebastian. Half mast is too high. Show some damn respect.
Do you see Fitzpatrick joining the Bucks?
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
Which 2015 Ohio guys, that haven't been offered, do you think will be offered down the road?
