The foreign exchange student who played last year at Warren G. Harding HS in Warren, Ohio has moved back to Europe, but is not in Denmark (his home.) Rather, he and his family have moved to Sweden, just across the bridge from Copenhagen, where he'll play in an U19 league and "senior" ball for the Søllerrød Gold Diggers. He said that he will play one year in Copenhagen and that as of now the plan is for him to return to the US for his "senior" year of high school, but whether or not that is in Ohio is yet to be determined.
Froholdt earned offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Arkansas, Louisville, Michigan State and more this past summer and ESPN.com has him ranked as the 59th-best player in the 2015 class. He's currently 6-foot-4 and pushing 290 pounds. It will be very interesting to see where Froholdt ends up when he returns to America next year. Right now I think this one - as it currently stands - is really an Ohio State vs. Michigan battle. Without an "allegiance" to the Buckeyes (since he didn't grow up in Ohio), and with Michigan's longstanding presence at WGH, it could be neck and neck between the two schools until he signs.
