Scout $ - Clark Camps at Ohio State '17 OH QB Danny Clark
- Loved working with Coach Herman at camp. Also hearing from Tennessee & Michigan State.

BN$--Camp Star Going Towards Ohio State '15 OH ATH Eric Glover-Williams
- Eric says he has a top five of Ohio State, Tennessee, Michigan, Louisville and Florida but says tOSU is standing out right now. However, he wants to wait until after this season to make a decision.
Scout$--Glover-Williams Camps, Talks OSU '15 OH ATH Eric Glover-Williams
- Eric says he grades his camp performance a B but loved being coached by tOSU's staff. He again says he will likely commit this fall and Coach Meyer wants him to be the leader of his recruiting class.
"Camp was awesome. I measured in at 6'6" 232 and ran a 4.52 40 yard dash, which was my fastest ever. I also broad jumped 10 feet 7 inches with a 33 inch vertical. After I tested, I was on the field being coached by TE coach Hinton and had an individual session with Coach Meyer, which was awesome. I learned a lot then proved it in the 1-on-1s and ended up earning my scholarship [offer] after talking to Coach Meyer. It's an honor to be given that opportunity, and I will take it into great consideration and make my decision down the road."

When Cincinnati La Salle wide receiver Derek Kief committed to Alabama over Ohio State on Sunday, the Buckeyes missed out on yet another prospect from Cincinnati. To Urban Meyer, that was just a minor setback in an effort to infiltrate the 513.
The Buckeyes have long struggled to land prospects from this region while Catholic schools such as Boston College and Notre Dame have thrived. Ohio State has dominated every other corner of the state, but no such luck in the Queen City.
The Buckeyes' roster shows just two scholarship players from Cincinnati, Adolphus Washington and Andrew Norwell. Meyer landed his first commitment from the area when Moeller's Sam Hubbard committed to Ohio State after originally committing to Notre Dame on a lacrosse scholarship.
Canton (OH) McKinley athlete Eric Glover-Williams is one of the top prospects in the state of Ohio for the class of 2015. He already holds an offer from the Buckeye and attended Ohio State's one day camp today.
"Overall I felt my grade was a B. I feel like I could've done a lot better. I was kind of tired, I've been to a lot of camps and have been working out with my team, I felt kind of tired today, but I still grinded it out to show out for my team."
While Glover-Williams was less than impressed with his performance, he did win the "smokehouse" which took place at the very end of today's camp.
"That was more of just a quick thing. I'm just good at getting a jump off the line, so that was pretty much what I did is get a good jump off the line."
Q&A With Stephen Collier (Men of the Scarlet and Gray)
Just by reading the name Stephen Collier I might have already lost a couple of readers but I’m asking you please stay with me you, won’t be disappointed.
Collier is a 3 star recruit out of Leesburg, Georgia, who has been invited to the Elite 11. Collier racked up impressive numbers his junior season, racking up a more then 2,200 total yards and 34 touchdowns. Right now, Collier holds ten offers in hand, two of which are from the Buckeye State in Toledo and Cincinnati. On June 9th, Collier camped at Ohio State and loved his visit.
Football | Lake Taylor's Holmes picks Ohio State (Hampton Roads)
Jalyn Holmes and his dad, Jermaine Taylor, grew up huge Florida State fans.
So when Holmes, a standout defensive end at Lake Taylor, narrowed his choices to Florida State, Ohio State and Clemson, Taylor thought his son was going to choose their favorite team.
Holmes, 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds, instead chose Ohio State. He announced his decision Thursday night in front of family, coaches, teammates and friends in Lake Taylor's auditorium.
Holmes said what swayed him was how comfortable he felt at Ohio State.
Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets, 6/21 - Jalyn Holmes officially commits, two visit updates (LGHL)
One day after a lengthy song and dance ended with more equestions than answers, '14 defensive end prospect Jalyn Holmes finally his announcement and committed to Urban Meyer's Ohio State Buckeyes. As the Twitterverse and Buckeye recruiting enthusiasts were well aware, Holmes was reported to have committed to Ohio State yesterday, but denied the rumors via his Twitter account. It only took another day to make things official, however, and many hope Holmes' verbal is the catalyst for more great news to come. According to 247Sports' Composite Rankings, Holmes grades out as a 96 overall, the 80th best overall player in the nation, the 4th best weak-side defensive end in the nation and the 4th best prospect from Virginia. Rejoice Buckeye Nation, and this seems to not be the only good news to come in the near future.
'14 defensive tackle prospect, Matt Elam, ranked as 247Sports' 10th best overall prospect, made the trek from Kentucky to Columbus yesterday to spend some time with the coaching staff and take in the campus. All reports indicate the visit went exceedingly well, and one hopes that Elam's experience becomes the norm for the plethora of visitors in Columbus throughout the weekend. Elam, not offered by Ohio State until June 4th, stands tall. 6-6, 350-pound tall. Not surprisingly, 247Sports has him listed as a 5-star recruit, while their composite rankings (combining all other recruiting services' takes) has him as a 4-star. Regardless, this mammoth prospect just may be big enough to fill out the #52 jersey previously held by Johnathan Hankins. As daunting as a task that may be, I'm a believer. Gauge for yourself below:
After completing an exhaustive nationwide search for a quarterback, Ohio State landed a little-known prospect from South Georgia on Friday evening.
Lee County High School’s Stephen Collier committed to Ohio State on the spot after being offered a football scholarship on Friday. He picked the Buckeyes over Wake Forest and Cincinnati.
