Buckeyes will be visiting Demarre tomorrow, checking out practice and hoping to get back in the front of the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Georgia product's mind.
I talked to Demarre a bit last night, and he was very quick to make sure I let people know a few things about his recruitment. The first of which is that despite popular opinion pushing him to Clemson, almost as if he's already made his decision, he's still definitely looking hard at Auburn, Clemson, Ohio State and Tennessee, the four schools on his final list.
"I haven't (decided)," Kitt told me. "My dad hasn't even visited Clemson yet. People think that because of Deshaun (Watson)."
Furthering the conversation, Demarre was pretty up front that he's confused, trying to pick the best option for him from a group of great options.
"I've seen all I need to see from all the schools," he said. "Now, it's just about making the best decision I can."
Did yesterday's commitment by Lonnie Johnson hurt the Buckeyes chances of landing Kitt, who plays the same spot? He says that's not the case.
"No, that doesn't affect me," he added. "They want more than one. Just let people know I've not decided yet."
