Some interesting things there are no Midwest 5*****s at all they got to Drake Harris the WR from Michigan and decided to stop i guess.
Also, Parris Campbell at 36 overall was a surprise to me as he was sort of under the radar most places
Damon Webb check is at 35 and there are OSU targets all over the list

It would have been easier to list who we are NOT in on for the top 100

The link doesn't seem to work. Try this or this.
Its weird Its like they are still changing things. I swear the first time I opened the scout 100 Campbell was 33 now he is 36 and Marshon Lattimore is 33 maybe they made some adjustments
You are right. Earlier today the two OSU commits were at 33 and 36. Now they are at 35 and 36. Maybe one of them had a high-fat lunch and got moved down when Scout found out about it.
Interesting to see Drew Barker is rated higher than Watson.
I've been high on Barker for a while... Not saying his better than Watson in any way, but I think this proves to some people that Barker is a legit QB. Obviously Watson's stats blow Barker's out of the water, but I think Barker could be very successful in Columbus.
He's rated higher on 247 as well.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I see Deshaun Watson at #96 and he isn't listed as committed to anyone. I thought he had verbaled to Clemson. Maybe Scout knows better than to list a player that UFM really wants as committed to another school. Good for them.
I also find it weird that evrn with most teams going to the spread you see (almost) every year that tall Pro style QB at the top of Scouts list ahead of the dual threat guys
I like Barker, I'm no expert, but I like his film. He deserves a top 100 spot.
Kyle Berger higher than Raekwon McMillan? HMMM.
Marcelys Jones doesn't even make the Scout 300. Does not rated, basically mean they have yet to watch film of a player? With all the hoopla about Jones and his many new offers, you would think the recruiting services would have a beat on this kid.
Surprised Booker isn't in the top 100 and Berger is #44
Caleb Henderson was moved to the #2 QB
Scout is the worst of the major recruiting sites by far.
actually Scout is the best one for the Mid-West, they are the only ones who have more then 1 mid west scout. Rivals has 1 and ESPN has 0 and Rivals was busted for ranking players based on how many subscribers they got from fan bases (say they got alot of Bama fans then Bama players would get ranked highe)
Oh, really? Well the more you know I guess.
I hate scout many questionable moves on here as pinpointed above. It is nice to se ie campbell get a HUGE bump. Lol

TSUN has only one kid on list at #97
Scout finally gave Jabril his 5th star.
What really surprised me was that Scout has Parris Campbell ahead of Hurd and Hood. I also didn't expect Joe Mixon to be rated higher than every RB Ohio State has offered.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Mixon is going to be crazy good in college, he's probably one of the most impressive RBs out of HS in the last 5-6 years
man I hate to say this but espn has the best rankings....uhhhgg.

OP or anyone mind posting the entire list, please? I can't access the website at work. Thanks in advance! ...easy upvote for you ;)
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Surprised there's no talk about this, but anyone else surprised Da"Shawn Hand is no longer #1 overall?
I'm more surprised that they have Peppers at #11 and he's no longer the #1 CB.
As for Hand, I no longer want him if he's only #2.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

I didn't mean it like that. I meant it as "everyone talked about how Hand was head and shoulders above everyone else and by far the #1 overall recruit, and now here we are and we're not even that far into the recruiting season, and a major service already has him as #2.
Now, before anyone jumps on me, I realize it's literally 1 spot off of #1, I'm just trying to say I'm surprised he didn't come in at #1 as everyone has been preaching he's the #1. That's all.
Is it me, or does it seem like all the schools are offering everyone this year? Sure we have offers to many of the top 100, but can't that also be said for the top 30 schools right now?
Thought this might be a good edition to this thread:
Plenty of Buckeye Targets on Initial 'Scout 300' List
By Tony Gerdeman
Scout recently unveiled their initial 'Scout 300' list, ranking their top 300 prospects in the 2014 class. As you would expect, Urban Meyer and his staff are in contact with a good portion of them.
Currently, three of the Buckeyes' four commits are on the list, with Damon Webb (35), Parris Campbell (40) and Kyle Trout (122) all bearing mention. Marcelys Jones is not listed, however, and is currently ranked 33rd in the state of Ohio alone.
This far from 2014's signing day, a very wide net has been cast for players. The coaches are searching all over the nation for future Buckeyes. You can see that in number of prospects they are talking to at the moment.
Things will eventually begin to become more concentrated over the next six months, before they then stretch out again next January as the coaches look for another James Clark type of player to get in on late.
Until then, here are some of the prospects on the initial 'Scout 300' that the Buckeyes are talking to.

Scout is the Bleacher Report of Recruiting Ranking websites, nuff said.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
The link I provided is to the-ozone.net and does not discuss the relative merits of the various recruiting services, but instead gives brief --and imo interesting-- summaries of where the Buckeyes stand with the prospects on the list that we have offered.
I saw that, definitely an interesting read. I overall still think that Scout is useless when it comes to recruiting rankings. They only seem to evaluate talent in the Midwest and fudge rankings for many of the other regions. They don't even evaluate the Midwest that well either. I think 24/7 gets it right when it comes to rankings.
