My favorite part of following recruiting is predicting where players will end up. Michigan and OSU often battle for the same players, especially in the Midwest. Between 11W and 247sports, I've pulled together a list of players with common offers. I've tried to focus on both schools main targets, but, by default, there are going to be those that are higher on one's list than the other. I have split this into two threads (Offense/Defense) due to concerns of the size of each response. This list could be somewhat fluid, as is recruiting, so if there is someone that you feel was overlooked or comes up in the next few months, they can be added.
The rules are simple: Choose OSU, Michigan, or Field (Any other school) for where you think each recruit will end up. There is no need to add justification or recent news, but it may be included. I have no prizes, but maybe we can convince Gametime to make a custom avatar for the winner. Worst case scenario: upvotes [and pride] will be involved. 2 points for each correct pick, 0 points for incorrect picks, and -1 point if chose OSU and the player commits to Michigan and vice versa.

It's really tricky predicting OSU's line prospects. I think it's a safe assumption that we get Jones, making three in this OL class. That means room for two more. If Prince visits and shows legit interest, I think we wait for him. Otherwise, it's whichever two of Brown, Johnson, Bars, Mustipher, or Nelson pulls the trigger first. Or we take two of them if Prince doesn't end up here.
Harris = Toss-up. I'll go with OSU because of Coombs but I wouldn't be shocked with UM, Florida or Bama
Scott = UM
Blacknall = FSU or OSU
Kitt = Clemson with Watson and Trevion Thompson (what an insane receiving corps that would be)
Hood = Again, toss-up, probably UM
Hillman = Not sure, haven't heard much, would assume neither.
Mixon = UGA or USC
Hurd = OSU
Luatua = Bama
Weishar = Not sure, shot in the dark here = UM
Blazevich = OSU (I trust Urban on this)
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.

Dude you have it wrong on Jalen Hurd. He is so tOSU it isn't even close! I also hear Blazevich likes tOSU a lot too. Although I am not as sure on that one. But Hurd will be scUM's nightmare for at least 3 seasons starting in fall 2014!

It is sooo waaay too early for a lot of these recruits. OSU gets 2-3 of the OL listed and Michigan gets 1-2. Drake Harris is impossible to figure out at this point and the other WR targets are dependant on the board. Hurd is probably OSU. And tight end is wide open with Blazevich as the most likely OSU target.

This is exactly how I see as well.
Don't forget about Haden. He may not be at the top of the wish list for OSU fans, but his family has a strong relationship with Meyer and his brother being in Cleveland will not hurt OSU's chances of landing him. I think he's in this class and i'm pretty confident about it.
Hurd, Blaze, Kitt, and 3 of the OL on this list will end up at OSU as well. And Watson.
I'm not sure Hayden gets in we have PC.Jr already and they are like the same player.

I was wondering about Haden for a while. Do you think urban takes a chance on him, even if he isn't as highly rated as others? I mean joe wasn't a really highly rated recruit and he turned out very well. Could it happen with his brother too?
Urban very well could I just think Autry is higher on the board and a heavy OSU lean but you know how difficult these things are to predict so Haden could end up being part of this class.

I want to see what spring ball develops before I pick and choose here. I need to see the current WR crew and how they develop. Obviously OL is going to be huge and I assume at least 3 more will make the class. RB will be key for at least 1 if not 2. I wouldn't hate seeing Hurd and Mixon.
Blazevich will be the pick for me off that list. I just see too many other players that are not being recruited by both schools that Urban is going hard after. I.E. Autry, Watson and Barker (no QBs?). The list above outside of OL is really more of a wish list than a must get. I think there are bigger fish for Urban right now at QB and on the defensive side. I think Urban really believes he got some very nice weapons this year and has a nice stock going forward for a bit.
Not to say I wouldn't hope for most of these players, just think it will be more wait and see. If anyone would have told us that we would have ended up without Gibson and Foster this time last year, yet have a nationally ranked class for WR/ATH, we would have looked at you like you are crazy.

I agree. RB might be the toughest position for Michigan to have a chance of landing a stud. Obviously, you're following Derrick Green and Smith, and Michigan seems to be in a great spot with Harris and Weber for next year. I think it could be Hilliman, but I have a gut feeling about Wilbon.
Also, I'm with you on the Bars pick. He has been quiet, but I think he folllows a brother to the B1G or goes south.
