When speaking to ESPN yesterday mentioned that he's going to have to re-evaluate his top 3 due to distance (Had a top 3 of Notre Dame, Michigan and Ohio State). Basically it means he's going to give the Carolina schools and some in the SE another chance, I honestly believe this works in our favor as it only takes 6 hours 43 min (according to google) to get from Charlotte to Columbus where as it's almost 10 hours to Ann Arbour and almost 12 to South Bend! The closest school in his area that'll be competing for any realistic shot at a championship in the next 2-3 years is Georgia and they are set at RB for at least 2-3 more years

I would say that it's better news for Clemson and North Carolina than it is for Ohio State.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
You say Georgia is set for at least 2-3 more years. OSU is set for 2-3 more years at least as well. I mean: Dunn, Ball, Eze, Wilson and Campbell all have at least 3-5 years of eligibility.
so Georgia could say the same thing as well. Not to mention as Buckvsworld says, there are other schools outside of Georgia that are close and could compete for Hood.
I still think Hood will be signing with Notre Dame when signing day rolls around. He says this now but we all know how fluid things are in recruiting. Especially if Notre Dame has a 10 win season I think he'll be headed to ND. Could be wrong though just the vibe I'm getting
My interpretation of the article is that his top 3 are North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Georgia. He also said that he isn't completely eliminating schools to the North. I didn't get that this is positive for us at all.
Not really positive for us, but positive for us in terms of we didn't have too much of a chance at this guy, and now both UM and ND are not sitting as nicely as they were.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
No worries, never really thought we were in a solid mix with him anyway. The big one I'm hoping for is Autry!!
