PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Does anybody know the details of his visit? This guy's highlights are insane
Just a tip: For info like this, check the quickbits from the last few days, you'l usually find what you need. There's a bucknuts article about how his visit went extremely well.
Also, it's Braden*, and he's a guard, not a tackle.
As Buck-I.8 mentioned, seemed to have a really good time at OSU, but from what I've read it's a bit too early to tell if we've risen above the rest of the many teams he's still considering (Michigan and ND among many others). Doesn't appear to have narrowed things down just yet, still taking a lot of visits (OSU was obviously one of those).
He was downgraded to a 4-star and that is what people assumed would occur that actually study the film and understand it.
Yeah, I suspect standing at 14 feet has to be problematic for the QB's vision... hence the downgrade.
Apparently he doesn't do interviews (at least not very many), so information is hard to come by. All I heard from his Michigan visit was that he was very "comfortable" at Michigan and really enjoyed himself.
I think he's at/on his way to Notre Dame.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
His dad is the one that usually gives out info and it is very rare that info comes out. They only talked about their visit schedule once (saying where they are visiting and the goals for each visit).
Yeah, that's what I've been hearing, too. Said that Steve Wiltfong at 247 has the "best" relationship with his father and has put some stuff out.
He told Wiltfong he enjoyed his ND visit more than Michigan and Ohio State because he felt more comfortable with the campus, players, and atmosphere. He also said he will take officials to Notre Dame, TCU, and Texas A&M and has a few other schools in the running for his last two. OSU, Michigan, Alabama, and Oklahoma (has visitied all of them already) along with his summer visits of Clemson, Georgia, and South Carolina are possibilities.
As much as I really liked this kid in the beginning, I won't be too disappointment if he goes elsewhere. My opinion is OSU is in good shape with Jamarco Jones and I also think that Demetrius Knox will eventually flip. Add one more from the following: either JUCO OL, Orlando Brown Jr., Damian Prince, Quenton Nelson, Reilly Gibbons and I'll say that's a pretty solid group.
I've heard the same thing about RB recruits (Hurd) and LB recruits (McMillian). Good shape or not, we'd rather have 4* and 5* commit to us than not. In keeping with the committed quote, "good shape means we made a recruit's top ten."
Looks like tarzan plays like jane. I like most of r other targets and. Current commits much more.
stark county football
he seems to project best at guard. lacks elite length to play LT in the B1G. i am not too familiar with osu's depth chart, what's the likely breakdown of OL spots in this class? i know they're going to take a big OL class
