I love how greedy I get with recruiting. I was all set to possibly land no other players and when this news broke my first thought was now we have to get Bell.
Carl Lawson staying with Auburn and OSU landing some more guys could sway Bell. He wants to go to a program that has a complete team.

I may be in the minority, but wouldn't you rather this happen (if true) on NSD? Signing day surprises were rare under JT and a Wilson (or Bell) signature coming across the wire on NSD would be much more impactful then opposed to alleged reports now. I remember Derek Morris (even though he bailed soon after) being a NSD surprise that was an absolute slam dunk (for us) and punch in the gut (for every other rival fan base).
Urban WILL close on one of the three. Bell, Clark, Wilson. At least one will be a Buck on NSD.
If I were Urban I'd tell Wilson to announce on NSD. I'd take his silent verbal and have him pull a hat on NSD.

well I think he prefers to hear the news himself and not just repeat other outlets. hard to blame him for that.
In his tweet he's essentially saying that Wiltfong isn't a "great source". He should've said he hasn't had a source confirm it to him yet.
I get how it sounds like that, but he is definitely not a first hand source. My point is if my job is to analyze these things I would want to talk to sources closer to Dontre before making a call, and that is what it seems like Farrell is doing.
Farrell is very good...at projecting East Coast kids. This is a TEXAS kid. Hamilton is one of the best in the business and well respected by everyone out there.
Farrell so far has called Bell a Bama lock....then came back and said it is osu...now he has flip flopped to Tennessee....

I am loving all the enthusiasm for tOSU landing several big-time playmakers, but where are the scholarships going to come from to keep these guys? Last time I checked we had one scholarship left to give out. So if we grab Bell and Wilson (or more), who is leaving the team?
I'm just praying it's a small-time receiver who will tranfer and that we won't have another Joey O'Connor situation that further depletes depth where we need it. Let's hope we have room for at least Bell and Wilson though!

To provide a little clarity, I think Chung misconstrued what Wiltfong said. He thinks Wilson will flip to the Buckeyes, not that he will (like a confirmed statement), as Chung phrased it. All signs point to OSU at this point.

Agree with some previous sentiments, would love to add Clark and Bell, but that would require 2 more current scholarships to be freed up. I wonder with JT's knee if they could free up his scholly for medical reasons? Not familiar with all those rules, so someone would have to clarify. I don't recall anyone else with big time medical issues (Crowell I guess is gone, same for Jamie Wood - did he use up all of his eligiblity?), but then again with 80+ guys it's hard to keep track.
Say Wilson is in, are the only two potential guys left Clark and Bell?
