I think we must be looking at him at the viper spot, because there is no way a 205 pound kid can play DE at a major college.

That weight isn't updated, but remember the kid's only a junior in HS. We were pretty close to bringing in a 160 lb senior WR this last cycle.

Couldn't agree more. Like Eze a year ago, I'm just not SUPER excited because a few of these names are more or less brand new to me. If Urban is allowing them to commit, it means he wants them in this class and that helps get me excited. Im all on board!

Has a lot of the same raw talent Se'Von Pittman had in HS, maybe slightly less speed but good pass-rusher.

If you don't think he matters, look at the posts on the Michigan 247 board below lol, they're combusting. I would say easily a consensus 4* DE, and the 2nd best DE in Michigan (behind Malik McDowell). GREAT get for OSU, the fact that he's from Michigan is a huge bonus. Urban and Coombs are draining their lifeblood this year with Damon Webb and now Marshall. Lookout if we get Drake Harris or Malik McDowell as well.

True. There are some GREAT individual athletes sprinkled through out the state but mainly in the South East of this state. But like you said, not a lot of depth so the teams themselves aren't on the same level as say HS teams from Ohio, Georgia, Florida, Texas, etc ... save an occasional team from Brother Rice, Cass or Farmington Harrison.

Yes, it's amazing the talent that comes out of Cass Tech isn't it. The interesting thing about Michigan though is that in the northern part of the state it's kind of like Canada, things become heavily geared towards winter sports like hockey, skiing, snowboarding etc. Most of the prep athletes from Michigan tend to come from Flint, Detroit, Lansing areas. I have always considered it to be a damn good basketball state though too.
