With NLOI day tomorrow, the 2013 recruiting class is looking great. If we keep all verbal commits, this will be one great class! The thing is, many experts don't think we are done. With the possibility of landing Clark and Bell still, one question remains. If we get both (which I hope we do), who goes? If I understand the math correctly, we would be sitting at 84 if we get James Clark and Vonn Bell. Are there any hints of who would have to leave or who might? What are your thoughts? Who would you be willing to part with?

I think speculation who might leave is frowned upon due to parents of players reading this blog... We usually wait for the 11W staff to reveal if a player has left the program.
Bingo!
There will be some attrition...but I agree...just wait to see who. Just go to Alex's break down...you can see who it may be.

Speculating about this right now is silly. Why can't we just wait and see how things play out?
Crowded at LB, WR, and DL. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the linebackers transfer.

I'd say all of the D-Line guys and LBs would stick it out since there are 6 open spots this season, and perhaps a few in 2014. There could potentially be 9-10 "safeties" but both those spots and the STAR should open up in 2014. Maybe someone along the O-Line who's buried right now, but then again 4 spots open up in 2014. Perhaps another WR buried behind the top 4 or 5 guys. Just speculating based on Alex's blog post about the current scholarship outlook. We could miss on Bell and Clark and wrap up with 24 and everybody stays, which would be just fine. Really hate to lose another one like O'Connor.
I just look at the current roster, and it is filled with so much potential. Hard to imagine any leaving. Was curious more if there were any rumors of anyone that was home sick, or having grade problems. The scholarship limit really is a difficult penalty.
Please tread delicately with a thread like this. I fully understand that theorizing about this type of thing makes sense, but this is also people talking about kids futures and lives and as was seen with Blake Thomas' father showing up recently, this is a sensitive thing.
The good thing here is that no one will be forced out of the program if they are doing what they've been asked to do. This isn't LSU or Bama. We don't kick kids out of the program, so my guess would be that the coaching staff already has a good idea of who may be on the way out to know how much room they really have.
Well, right now it looks like Taivon Jacobs won't be a Buckeye....Fuuuuuuuu.

Well, if Jacobs stays home (which I believe he should, for his child), and we land Bell and Clark, we would be at 83. So only losing one guy would not be unheard of or unexpected. If we lose Jacobs and only get one of Bell/Clark, we are at 82 and its moot.
