I've used this embedding tweets link before and it doesn't turn out the same when I do it from my phone. Mike Farell did tweet this earlier. Honestly believe Bell is 50/50.
Lighten up? No one is upset here. No need to tell me to lighten up. You edited your subject matter, so that works, but your initial post consisted of "things trending towards OSU..." and that's all. It was likely that way when you originally posted so you were missing stuff from the get go, which happens sometimes. All I wanted to know is where did you get your information and that's a fair request. I don't follow him on Twitter and I don't go on Twitter while I'm in my office so I didn't know he had posted that. Anyone can post anything they want here...so providing a little information and sources is always key.
Not that I care about the downvotes...really means nothing to me, but know that he had no sources when he originally posted it. All he had was a quote that said "things trendings towards OSU..." with nothing else. All I wanted to know is who he was getting this information from. He has since corrected his post, so it's all good, but it was an appropriate request given that there was nothing else to the original, unedited post. Now my post seems out of context and that is why.
I did have a source it was from twitter but it was showing half of the tweet.... I just didn't know how to embed the tweet that is why I just copied and paste what he had tweeted instead. Im sorry that I'm not as quick as some people on the computer. sheesh

Haha, thanks for the support, Zen, but it happens. I'm not overly concerned with it. It wasn't a comment worthy of any upvotes either, IMO, so it was salvaged in a way.
Asking for sources here is the surest way to get downvoted.
I find that odd. I like to think that asking for sources is asking them to just back up their statement. I might be in the minority there, but not having anything to support a claim makes it just an opinion and not worth starting a whole thread over. It's a moot point now because it was just an error on his part trying to embed a tweet and it has been rectified. But asking someone to verify information that they're posting that is contrary to belief shouldn't be looked down upon - it should be encourage...but again, that's my opinion.

Seems like all 3 schools (OSU,bama,ut) have led at some point and some have led more then once..things will be up in the air until he decides and faxes over that LOI. Well, heres to hoping for some good news tonight, a Buckeye win tomorrow and starting off Wednesday morning w/ a 5*.
Would that ever be one heck of a surprise. Could arguably be the best DB class in the nation if it happens.

The good news is Vonn didn't commit right after his visit to UT. More time has gone by and a lot of the Honeymoon phase with UT is over. Each day that goes by Urban and the staff have been in his ear. Maybe waiting til Wednesday has given the staff enough of an opportunity to sweet talk him.
This could be a win for the good guys. I'm sure Urban has let him know that God wants Vonn to be a Buckeye!(j/k)

Every one of these experts has a different opinion. Biddle on 97.1 today says Bucks land Wilson (and keep EZE). Out for Clark (to UF) and Bell is a UT lean. Take it fwiw, but I'll wait for a gray box and those faxes to come in.

I agree, they all seem conflicted. At the same time, I suppose recruiting "experts" are afraid to say "You know what, I have no freaking clue. He could pick Middle Tenn. for all I know!" Because they no longer look like experts lol. But I'd respect that.
If we manage to land even 1 of Wilson, Bell and Clark I'll consider it a success. Heck, if we even keep the class we already have, I'll consider it a success.

I've noticed that too. I said it in another thread, but it's rather irritating. Make a prediction and just go with it. I know recruiting is not exactly a fluid science, but by this point in time, not much will drastically change so why not just make a prediction and stick with it. If you're right, you're right and if you're wrong, you're wrong...not the end of the world.
Love the picture. Isn't Farrell the guy who switched Diggs to Maryland on the day he committed there? Maybe the guy gets new info every day, and is just doing his best to keep us posted. Or maybe he has the same problem as the guy from Memento and can't keep what is happening straight.

I know he'll go with the information he gives, I just think that calling it a prediction is a little bit too much. It's totally just semantics really as I think if we call something a prediction, it's something you want to stick by. If you want to keep changing it, go ahead, but let's call it "his best guess"...just me being nitpicky really.

Ok, I'm really confused about the time stamps on twitter. It is currently 4:31 PM on 2/4/13 my time in Norwalk, OH. Where are these guys tweeting from that the time stamp is 2-4 hours in the future? This time the sarcasm button is not on, I just don't get it.
Perhaps SilverState is hours ahead, but when I click on the account and open the details on that tweet I see 3:31 PM. Maybe someone is over in Europe? I don't know.

Saw the In Rainbows tour at Blossom in '08ish(?) Amazing.

Well, whatever Grey is, it is awesome to get the info as he puts it "straight from the horses mouth". I hate always having to ask for the source.
I first seriously started learning coding (Java, C++, and such) about 13 years ago, so something as simple as embedding a Tweet is nothing new to me. I did just newly start an 11W's account (after being an observer for years) and I like to source my info when I can. Embedding a tweet is faster for me then typing everything out plus people likePOPEURBAN seem to like it enough that I've kept it up (thanks again POPEURBAN!). I actually had a whole way I was going to be able to autopopulate most of these tweets so i didn't have to keep posting them, however, 11W's code overrides it and I'm left updating them manually. (Sorry if this was more information than you wanted.)
I am not a computer whiz, but 11W not allowing the auto function sounds like a way to stop spam. No?

Farrell is a huge flip flopper. Guess he figures if he predicts each finalist he can point to a correct predicition after the fact and keep his guru status.
He's not flip flopping. He says outright "heard from new sources, now think X" and continues to do that the entire time. All he is really doing is telling us what his sources say, which changes a lot because the whims of 17 year olds change a lot. There is nothing wrong with what he does.
Also probably a ton of misinformation and false leaders to sift through. Not an envious position to be in when your credibility is constantly scruitinized and put on the line. Especially when credibility is basically his career.

Umm, perhaps its the kids who are "flip flopping". All he can do, or any recruiting analyst for that matter, is report the info they have on hand. And that info will change often in a fluid situation such as CFB recruiting.

Bell would be a huge get for OSU.
Every elite defense you can think of from a team standpoint has a stud at safety. They're often the unsung hero of the defense. Someone in the back end who is the QB of the defense and can either come up and lay the wood, cover a TE in the middle or go break up the deep throw.
Think about the truly elite years we've had defensively and think about the safeties we had had playing on those teams. Mike Doss, Damon Moore, Rob Kelly, Damon Moore, Will Allen, etc. (I'm sure I didn't get them all) were all intergral parts of great defenses in recent years.
I like Barnett and Bryant, but this guy has the skills to be a difference maker.

OSU landing Wilson last night can only help us with Bell. He has talked about wanting to be on a team that has the complete package. We have it all!

I think that brings up an interesting point. Next year's class definitely won't look as sexy, but we should prepare ourselves for addressing needs. I know this is very early to bring up these points, but I am trying to slowly ready myself to develop an educated eye for next years class. I.e. I will take joy in signing 4 and 5 star lineman and not concerning myself with as many track stars floating around in the recruiting pool.
