Billy Price: 2013 Ohio State football player profiles (lghL)
Our look at incoming Buckeye freshman continues with 4-star defensive tackle Billy Price
This week we move along in our preview of the 2013 recruiting class that Urban Meyer has assembled with a look at 247 Composite 4-star defensive tackle Billy Price. Price will join the stacked defensive line unit that Urban has quickly put together in his first two recruiting classes while at Ohio State. Along with Ohio State, offers came to Price from Arizona, Miami (OH), Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Pitt, SMU, Tennessee, UCLA, and West Virginia. The offer from Ohio State for Price came while Jim Tressel was still the head coach, but even with the turmoil that the program faced in 2011, it seemed as if Price was destined to come to Ohio State for quite some time.

Garrett Visits Buckeyes (The ozone)
Not all offers are equal. Ohio State has doled out over 110 so far for 2014 and there is no chance that all are the same. Some players want to commit but are asked to wait while others are diligently being wooed. Some players need to wait to see how the class fills out while others can commit anytime they want. The later is true for linebacker Clifton Garrett. He recently visited Ohio State for the fourth time then proceeded to travel down to Cincinnati and won the Defensive MVP for the Core6atletes Showcase. Afterwards, schools down south like Florida and Clemson made offers while Les Miles made a phone call. Getting Garrett to Ohio State will not be as easy as it seems. Clifton took some time to update Ozone readers on the state of his recruitment.

Any word how the visitors this weekend are doing? IIRC it's some 2015 guys, Dylan Thompson, and Elijah Hood.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Not to bring TTUN news here -- but just thought I'd mentioned that they lost their DL coach (Jerry Montgomery) to Oklahoma today. May not affect them at all with Hand or McDowell, but I'd sure be happy if it did! lol.
Recruiting is the area that this hurts the most. Mattison is reported to be taking over dline duties with someone else needed to come in and take over OLB coaching responsibilities.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Drew Barker is at UK junior days with Thadeus Snodgrass and Darius West and a few others
No way Baker ends up at UK. He will go to a better football program than that.
Looking like South Carolina if Ohio State doesn't offer.
I think it's possible he could end up there. A new coaching staff with a new scheme. He'd be the starter for 4 years and be a home state hero. I think USCe is the most likely destination, but UK isn't out of the picture. I think he's OSU bound if we offer, if not he probably ends up at USCe.
Updated
Timmons and a few other uk recruits trying hard to recruit barker, plus the runninng back who plays with barker is a walkon at uk. I think there is an excellent chance he goes to uk.more than likely barker is aware of how osu recruited timmons.
Which was as a backup plan. The difference is that Barker is a Top 100 prospect, and if things don't work out with Watson, the staff will heat up on him, quickly.
I really appreciate these Quick Bit updates, Genestarwind. You and Gray Box are two of my favorite contributors to 11W. Very much appreciated.
One other thing: Poona Ford's coach, BJ Payne? Really?
