Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets, 2/1 - Alabama, Florida State offer Ezekiel Elliott?!
Nowadays, there's never a boring day in the life of an avid Buckeye fan, especially this time of year and so close to National Signing Day 2013. New names truly do pop up every single day, and Thursday was no exception. 2013 3-Star junior college offensive lineman and Nebraska commit Matt Finnin was issued an offer by the Buckeyes early yesterday and thought about scheduling a visit, yet later on gave a final verdict:

College decision taking longer for some in Dandy Dozen
With less than a week to go before signing day, plans are beginning to fall into place for a handful of The Tennessean Dandy Dozen selections.
It’s a change from a year ago, when seven Dandy Dozen players had committed before the season even started.
And while nine of this year’s 12 prospects have announced their intentions, the process has had to play out over the course of the season and beyond for most of them. Signing day is Wednesday.
“Every year, it ebbs and flows,” Nashville-based national recruiting analyst Barton Simmons of 247sports.com said. “I think each individual player is different with when they make their decision. But it’s always played out like this. And any time there are coaching moves, that always adds to the dysfunction late in the process and makes the decisions a little less certain.”

HMMM, hopefully he picks up OSU as a favorite soon! OSU is desperate for OL, Jones and Trout would be a great start to 2014.
Gene, did you see anything on Luke Vadas?
Visiting Feb 7th, looks like another walk-on
Ahh, I see. Thank you
Vadas has full offer from Marshall, however he didnt feel Marshall was the place for him. His other offers Penn St, Pitt, Virginia, Maryland are all preferred walk on offers.
Awesome updates Gene!! Hope we stock up on O-linemen for 14 sooner than later this recruiting cycle.Could get crowded REAL fast!!lol
SCOTTC.
So I heard Corn Elder had an offer from Purdue. If he decided to sign with them for basketball does he tell the reports on NSD he plans on playing basketball instead? Is he leaning more to playing football or basketball at this point? Thanks.
Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State vs. Savannah State. - SB Nation following OSU vs. UM 2012
The young man wanted to be a buckeye, became b or c listed, now evaluating his options
Marquis Ware's highlights are amazing for a sophmore. Holy butts.
Hey Gene I read we also sent out a new offer to 14' Juco OL Chad Mavety from Nassau CC. Guy over at Scout said this kid is very good will get lots of offers. From what I saw hes already building a nice list already.
Good find, I'll include that offer in today's post.
Anyone else nervouse about Clifton Garrett and Ole Miss. Also, the link said Seth Hope has 4.36 GPA on a 4. scale. That's pretty impressive.
In other news, Kosta Koufus picked up a technical foul tonight vs the Hornets, thereby disproving the conspiracy theory that he lost his emotions as a toddler.
Just a for instance....
^^^^This is why I don't put a bunch of stock in what Chung says. He got this info from Tim May at the Cbus Dispatch (who I do trust). If Chung didn't listen to what ESPIN had to say about it originally...then 11W site wouldn't have MASS misinformation about how EzE is going to flip to Mizzu. IMO of course...but I've never been a big fan of Chung sinse he was at Bleacher Report.
