Well I got super bored guys and decided to use 247composite's formula in excel to check if they had our overall point total correct (they do). So then I decided to see how landing 1 or 2 or all 3 of Vonn Bell, Dontre Wilson, and James Clark would affect our point total and if we could catch Bama who is at 780.68 points. The results are as follows:
Vonn Bell - Finish as a team with 777.17 points
Dontre Wilson - Finish as a team with 775.53 points
James Clark - Finish as a team with 773.77 points
Vonn Bell & Dontre Wilson - Finish as a team with 778.66 points
Vonn Bell & James Clark - Finish as a team with 777.29 points
Dontre Wilson & James Clark - Finish as a team with 775.65 points
Vonn Bell, Dontre Wilson & James Clark - Finish as a team with 778.73 points
Unfortulantly we can not catch Bama this year in the Composite rankings without having them lose some recruits. I just wanted to check this out and share it with you guys. I tried to figure out how to link the Excel document so you guys can check it out for yourself, but I am not sure how to do it. If anyone knows feel free to tell me how.
Wow. Thanks for the hard work. I was actually thinking it would be cool for recruiting sites to do this and allow fans to pick the school and see how it turns out.

If you'd like to share the spreadsheet, you could always throw it up on Google Drive. (Formerly known as Google Docs) You could upload/convert the XLS to a Google document and set the sharing to public read-only or even public write able if you were brave (foolish?) enough.

Great work! I was wondering if we could catch them,but truly not worried if we didn't. If we end up with any combination of those three in this class it will be icing on the cake of a fantastic class already.
In their second season, first full season of recruiting, this staff is already nipping at the heals of Bama. That itself speak volumes about where this team is going.....and going fast!

Also worth considering is does Alabama have any guys that they may get that would increase their rating and put them further out of reach? As people have mentioned, our class is a great one and a testament to the recruiting ability of our coaching staff and the future of the program regardless of final rank
